This piece holds a very special place in the TIEDBYADRI collection. Originally designed as a custom order for my dear friend Mayra, these earrings celebrate our shared Puerto Rican roots. I loved the final look so much that we both agreed they belonged in the permanent catalog!
The design features the Taino Coquí, a sacred symbol from the indigenous people of Borikén (Puerto Rico). The Coquí frog is a beloved icon of the island, representing resilience, heritage, and the "song" of our home. Crafted in sleek black acrylic, these circular drops offer a bold, modern silhouette that honors the past while looking toward the future.
